Our Staff
Staten Island Hillel's professional staff is small, but mighty! Our goal is to ensure an excellent Hillel experience for every student, undergraduate or graduate. We aim to serve the campus and greater Staten Island Jewish community by cultivating the leaders of tomorrow. We know that each individual student has amazing potential and unique spirit, and our door is always open to mentor and guide.
Amy L Posner
Amy is our Executive Director and she has been building community through youth serving organizations for more than 25 years. She has held positions in United Synagogue Youth, Young Judaea, and The Girl Scout Council of Central New York. Amy directed the Jewish Multiracial Network. She served as director of Camp Edward Isaacs and was a Lechu Lakhem senior fellow of the Mandel Center for Jewish Education prior to coming to Hillel at CSI in May 2008. She holds a BS in Recreation from the University of Maryland and is currently studying informal Jewish education at the Davidson School of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
