Jack Stern has practiced law on Staten Island since being admitted to the practice of law in New York in 1977. His admission to the New York bar was followed by admissions in Florida in 1978 and New Jersey in 1979.
Jack now maintains his private practice together with his daughter Marissa J. Stern and associate James Birch.
Since joining the Richmond County Bar Association in 1977, Jack has served on the Grievance Committee for six years; the Judiciary Committee; Jack is a past member of the Richmond County Bar Association Board of Directors.
Jack has served as a member of the Board of Trustees at his synagogue, Congregation Aviv Hadash and served as President for three years. He was a member of the Board of Directors of New Springville Little League. He has just completed his twelve year term as a member of the Board of Trustees of Eger Lutheran Home and Health Care Center and served as Chairman of the Board for one year. He is also currently, President of the Hillel at the College of Staten Island, and a member of the Board of Directors of the St. George Theater, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Richmond County Country Club.
Jack resides in Staten Island with his wife Randi. He and Randi have two children, his daughter Marissa, an attorney, who works in the law office with him and their son Dr. Adam Stern, a veterinary pathologist for the University of Illinois. They are also the proud grandparents of Adam’s two daughter’s Hailey and Alexa.
